Strengthen your pelvic floor.

Bladder control

Urinary incontinence is frustrating and embarrassing, but you don’t have to live with it.  At Evolve Aesthetics in Portland, Oregon, patients benefit from our Emsella® noninvasive treatment for urinary urgency and bladder control. Experience improved quality of life as your symptoms of inadvertent urine leakage or loss of bladder control subside or disappear.

EMSELLA® treatment for urinary urgency and bladder control offers a non-invasive solution to the issue of a weak pelvic floor and poor bladder control for both men and women. This unique technology liberates those suffering from bladder control issues with a completely non-invasive therapy option

Good bladder control depends on a strong pelvic floor. Unfortunately, there are many aspects that can weaken the pelvic muscles there, including pregnancy and childbirth, menopause, surgery and aging.

As hormone levels shift and pelvic tissues weaken, the bladder is increasingly unable to function properly, leading to incidents of incontinence that can be triggered by jumping, jogging, sneezing, and even laughing.

We at Evolve Health understand that this can be a remarkably frustrating situation for men and women, in different ways, which is why we’ve added the EMSELLA® bladder control treatment to our practice.

EMSELLA™ is a great option for men or women of any age looking for a solution to bladder control and urgency issues and improvement in their quality of life. Choosing a non-invasive therapy before considering surgical intervention is the responsible choice for the initial management of urinary incontinence.

You’ll sit comfortably, fully clothed on the EMSELLA™ chair during your treatment. It essentially replicates the effect of more than 11,000 intense kegel muscle contractions, so you’ll experience tingling sensation with pelvic floor muscles’ contractions during the procedure. You can resume daily activities immediately after the treatment.

You may observe improvement after a single session. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks.

The treatment takes 28 minutes over the course of 6 sessions, scheduled twice a week for 3 weeks with 2-3 days in between, ideally.

Our providers offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your unique issues and the solution EMSELLA® can potentially offer you, as well as to assess your situation, suggest a plan, and answer your questions.
